USEPA - Great Lakes Fish Monitoring Program

Overview

The Great Lakes Fish Monitoring Program's mercury analysis of sportfish and top predator fish in the Great Lakes. The program is a cooperative effort between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. EPA, University of Minnesota, and Clarkson University. 1980-2006. Whole body and fillet samples of walleye, lake trout, salmonids, and rainbow trout; data include THg values, additional pollutants, and morphometrics.

Additional Info100 fish samples per year from 2004-2007; 369 samples from 1980-2003.  From 1998-2003, samples were analyzed by E. Nater at the University of Minnesota.  Starting in 2004, lab analyses were performed at Clarkson University.
